MALAYSIA - His Majesty's King's Birthday

In Malaysia, June 3rd marks a grand occasion - the birthday of the reigning king, also known as Yang di-Pertuan Agong. On this national holiday, a majestic procession takes place, and awards and titles are given by the king to deserving citizens. It's a day of patriotism, respect, and grandeur across the country.


UGANDA - Martyr's Day

Uganda commemorates Martyrs' Day, a public holiday dedicated to the memory of the Uganda Martyrs – a group of Christians who were persecuted and killed by the King of Buganda in the late 19th century. Every year, religious pilgrims from across the country and beyond travel to the Uganda Martyrs Shrine in Namugongo to pay their respects.
